Oxford County Board of Health
Board of Health works with the community and agencies to promote violence prevention. The nursing division provides a variety of health promotion and disease prevention services.

The Health Matters Line has a nurse available for consultation on health issues and community resources.

Clinical Nursing Services provide counselling and clinical services for family planning, sexual health and immunization issues.

Children in Need of Dental Treatment provides treatment for children in need of emergency or essential care for children up to Grade 8 where the cost of necessary care would create financial hardship.

Well Baby Clinics provide consultation on infant development and breast feeding support.

Domestic Violence Program and Sexual Assault Treatment Centre
St. Joseph’s Health Care London

Regional program for persons who have been sexually assaulted or assaulted by a partner. Specialized team completes sexual assault kits as required, referrals and counselling. Sexual Assault Team available 24 hours a day via the emergency department. Domestic Violence Program available by calling:

Shelternet is a website designed specifically for women seeking information about shelters.

Woodstock Police Service
The Domestic Violence Unit investigates offences, assists victims in understanding police involvement, makes referrals to community partners and assists with any concerns about victim safety. Arrangements can be made through the Domestic Violence Unit for risk assessments and safety planning.
