Programs We Provide

Addictions Support

Our Addictions Worker is available to assist clients of Ingamo Homes who are struggling with substance use. The Addictions Worker connects with clients around safety planning, safe-use, harm reduction, withdrawal, abstinence or recovery, and relapse prevention. Wherever you are in your journey, our Addictions Worker is here to help you along the way.

Child and Youth Programming

Our Child and Youth Program offers emotional and psychological support for our youngest transitional housing residents. Supporting children in their healing, our child and youth staff members work with moms and children to enhance and support their relationship, communication, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation. Over half of our transitional housing residents are children, which is why we have countless programs available to support them through this transition.

Nurse Practitioner

Through our partnership with the Oxford Community Health Center, a nurse practitioner is available for women to access when needed. The nurse practitioner offers monthly educational programming as well as support around health questions may have.

Individual and Group Support

Individual and group support is available for those who need extra support navigating housing, income supports, referrals and safety planning.

Family Court Support Program

If you are navigating the family court system or are looking for general information on starting the process, we have a family court support worker who can support you through this process. Some available supports include assisting with obtaining documentation, offering court accompaniments, understanding the family court system, and completing court papers.

Peace Program

In partnership with Domestic Abuse Services Oxford (DASO) we provide the peace programming for children and youth experiencing violence. We explore critical topics including anger, self-esteem, guilt, shame, and the impact of violence, all within a supportive, non-judgmental group environment

Services We Provide

Transitional Units

Ingamo Homes has 22 townhouse-style units in Woodstock, Ontario to support families who are ready to transition to more independent living with some on-site support. Clients can stay up to one year while they are in the process of securing more permanent housing. The units are located close to schools, public transit, and other essential amenities, making it a great fit for families. There are staff offices on site to ensure clients receive support as needed. There are also shared areas throughout the complex to facilitate life skills groups and other programming for the clients who live on site.
